Conflict? No, sir, it’s war — with Russia.

Decided to re-start my blog. And you know, why? Because I am really tired to hear from foreign guests and even experts and politicians: the CONFLICT in Eastern Ukraine. Or – which is even worse – the CIVIL WAR.

No, sir, I want to answer. It is a war, but not civil.
It’s a real war with Russia.

And maybe you think that we’ve got a kind of a frozen conflict? That there is a kind of truce, and that is why you almost never hear about the war in Ukraine on the news.

No, sir. That’s also not true. The cease-fire regime is not working. At all.

I’ve made a couple of pictures in the center of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, yesterday. It’s a wall. A memory wall of Mykhailivsky monastery, where are a couple of thousands of pictures – Ukrainian soldiers killed by Russian troops or by Russian weapons.

This is a very sad place. I always cry walking by.

Unfortunately this wall is expanding. Because every day we get news from the battle front. And almost every day we’ve got losses.

This month, in September 2018, Ukraine has lost 12 of its defenders. Our boys (lot of them are very young, only 20 y.o., though our government and president promised that we will not have young uneducated boys on the fire line).
Our Heroes. I will tell you about them later.

And starting from today, will brief you on the current political situation in Ukraine which is very sad also.
